State Fire Brigade is going to use drones in firefighting, emergency management and search and rescue missions
The Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Brigade in Mazovia Province presented purchased DJI drones. In the event took part Mr. Konstanty Radziwiłł, Voivode of Mazovia, Mr. Artur Standowicz, Deputy Voivode of Mazovia, and over-brigade Mr. Jarosław Nowosielski, Mazovian Voivodeship Chief of State Fire Brigade. The purchase of the drones was financed from the Governor’s reserve.

The drones presented are: Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced and Matrice 300 RTK, which are equipped, among others, with a hybrid camera Zenmuse H20T: optical and thermal imaging, an additional spotlight to illuminate the working field of the camera and a loudspeaker system to transmit voice messages directly from the drone. The presentation also included a system for transmitting images from the drone’s cameras to any location with Internet access.
The State Fire Brigade will use drones to, among other things, monitor the spread of fires, threats from floods, windstorms, etc., and for search and rescue operations.
Drone technology is constantly evolving, and the benefits of drones in firefighting and search and rescue missions are evident and appreciated by law enforcement agencies around the world.
